Acquire the Skills to Succeed On and Off the Mat with Teen Jiu Jitsu

At Fulcrum Jiu Jitsu Academy, we know that our Teen Jiu Jitsu classes (ages 13-16) are the perfect way to both inspire and challenge your teen. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is fast becoming one of the most popular forms of martial arts. So, whether they are a beginner or coming to us with years of experience, our world-class teachers can give your students the instruction they need to become masters at the technique.
Teen Jiu Jitsu Is About More Than Competition
The Jiu Jitsu technique your teen will learn at Fulcrum Jiu Jitsu Academy is as advanced as you can find in the Castle Rock area. Our training will create martial artists who can compete successfully on every level. We know that martial arts training offers a wealth of benefits beyond winning trophies at competitions.
In our classes, your teen will learn to:
- Set goals and commit themselves to achieving them
- Hone their focus and develop self-control
- Defend themselves in an emergency or bullying situation
Our Teen Jiu Jitsu students are able to join our Fulcrum Jiu Jitsu Academy's Youth Leadership Program, which is designed to build self-esteem, teach responsibility and develop leadership skills. Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible to help as Junior Assistant Coaches in our Little Rollers Program. It is an exciting opportunity for our students to have a leadership role and positively impact Fulcrum!
Qualifications:
- The student must be in the Big Rollers class.
- Minimum age - 12 years old.
- They must also be at least a grey-white belt.
Students will be sent home with the Youth Leadership Checklist. This will consist of two portions: one to be completed outside of the gym and the other to be completed inside the gym. When the In The Gym portion is completed, their parents will sign off on the Outside the Gym portion.
Once the student has completed both sections, they will be rewarded with a Fulcrum Leadership certificate and patch for their gi. They are then eligible to be a Junior Assistant Coach for our Little Rollers. They will be able to earn Fulcrum gear and other special promotions for helping coach Little Rollers classes.
